Submit Assignment

1. Click on the assignment. You will then see the following:

2. Click on the Add submission button.

3. Upload your file then click Save Changes.

3. Depending on the assignment settings set by your teacher, you may be required to accept a submission statement

4. The next steps will differ according to the settings your teacher has set on the assignment.

4.1. You can freely Edit or Remove your submission until the teacher deems otherwise.

OR

4.2. You have submitted a draft. You can freely Edit or Remove this draft until the teacher deems otherwise. You must click Submit Assignment for it to count as a submission

OR

4.3.1. You have submitted a submission attempt. You can Edit or Remove your submission but it will still count as a single attempt. Only when the teacher has manually given you permission will you be able to make another attempt.

4.3.2. When the teacher has allowed you to make another attempt, you may then click Add a new attempt to submit a new file. Clicking on Add a new attempt based on previous submission will show the same upload page but with your old submission file. This is so you can recover your previous file.

Note: The Turnitin function helps to detect plagiarism. If you see your work being queued for Turnitin that means that it will be checked for plagiarism later on. Your work will still be submitted to your teacher regardless if Turnitin checks it or not (file cannot be read, too few words, etc.),
