Copy an Activity from One Course to Another

1. Click an activity

2. Click the action button at the top right of the page

3. Click Backup

4. Click the Jump to final step button found at the bottom of the page

5. Wait for the backup to finish loading then click the Continue button

6. Click Restore on the backup file

Note: There may be other backup files present if you have made a backup of this activity before. Kindly refer to the time column to differentiate them

7. Click the Continue button found at the bottom of the page

8. Make sure you choose Merge the backup course into this course option before clicking Continue

9. Click the Next button found at the bottom of the page

10. Click the Next button

11. Click the Perform restore button

Note: The system will copy the activity to the same level topic. Meaning if the orignal activity was on the 3rd topic then it will place the copy on the 3rd topic of the course it was transferred to. If there is no matching topic, i.e. the original activity was on the 8th topic but the course it was transferred to only has 4 topics, then it will place the activity on the 1st topic.
