Teachers can arrange their students into distinct groups. Students can be grouped at the course level (as class sections) and/or for each individual activity or resource (for group work). Students may belong to more than one group.

• 1. In the Course Page, click the Actions menu button (Gear icon, above "Turn editing on" button).
  
• 2. In the Actions menu, click the More... option.
  
• 3. In the Course Administration / Users page, under Users, click Groups.
  
• 4. Click the Create group button.
  
• 5. Enter the Group name then click the Save changes button.
  
• 6. Click the Add / remove users button.
  
• 7. To select multiple students, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking multiple students. After selecting the students for the group, click the Add button.
